Pricing
Three flat plans. Requests, not credits.
Start with a 7-day trial, no card needed. Each plan is a fixed monthly price with a set number of Benchmate requests, and Benchmate never charges you for its own retries.
Basic
$15 / month
25 Benchmate requests a month (up to 6 a day)
- Schematic editor with the real-part picker
- Analog SPICE simulation: transient, AC (Bode), DC sweep, operating point
- PCB layout, 2 or 4 layers, with DRC
- Exports: KiCad PCB, Gerber, ODB++, pick-and-place, open JSON
- Starter Bench: 2-channel oscilloscope and multimeter, up to 2 instruments open
- Run your own compiled .hex (or .uf2 for the Pico) on supported AVR, PIC16 and RP2040 parts
- Private projects
ProFull bench
$29 / month
60 Benchmate requests a month (up to 15 a day)

Questions
- What counts as a Benchmate request?
- Each request to Benchmate, the AI assistant, counts once, whichever AI feature it uses: drafting or changing a circuit, answering a question, a layout assistant suggestion, importing a part from a datasheet, or drafting firmware. If Benchmate repairs its own attempt before answering, those automatic retries are free: it is still one request. A request that fails before the AI is called is not counted, and neither is one the AI service refuses before it starts answering. Once the AI has started answering it counts, even if the result is rejected. Simulation, bench instruments, Tidy, PCB routing and exports use no Benchmate requests. Plan access still applies.
- Why a daily limit as well as a monthly one?
- The monthly number is your allowance. The daily limit only stops one day from using most of the month. The daily limit resets at midnight UTC; the monthly allowance renews on your billing date each month.
- What if I run out?
- Top-up packs are coming soon: 25 Benchmate requests for $10. Top-up requests never expire and are used after your monthly allowance, within the daily limit. Trials, classroom seats and accounts with a pending renewal payment cannot buy them.
- What happens during and after the trial?
- The trial lasts 7 days and needs no card, so nothing is charged when it ends. Your own projects run at the Basic level, and the six starter labs open as a Pro preview with their Pro instruments. Benchmate is at the Basic level (up to 6 requests a day, 20 in total). Exports start with a paid plan. When the trial ends without a plan, your projects become view-only: you can open them and download each project file (.ohmeris.json), but not edit, export or send Benchmate requests. Nothing is deleted, and choosing a plan restores editing straight away.
- Can I take my projects elsewhere?
- Yes. Every plan exports KiCad PCB files, Gerber, ODB++, IPC-356, pick-and-place, SPICE netlists and an open JSON copy of each project.
- How do I cancel?
- From your account settings, in one click. No email or call needed.
- Are the PCB exports ready to send to a fab?
- The exports are checked by independent software, but we have not yet built and tested a board from them ourselves, so review them in your fab's viewer before ordering.
