What changed

Updated weekly. Limits stay next to the feature they belong to.

2026-10-24

  • Reviewable AI edits

When the AI changes an existing circuit, the chat now lists what changed (parts, values, wiring, net names, locked parts), what was kept, and what was not checked. Undo restores the previous circuit.

Limit: The review describes the change; it does not judge whether the change is correct.

  • SPICE net names can no longer collide

A net you name N001 is no longer merged with an automatically named net in the simulator.

2026-10-23

  • AC, DC sweep and operating-point analysis

Bode plots, DC sweeps and operating points join transient simulation, from the Simulate tab or by asking in chat.

  • Import EasyEDA and Eagle schematics

Bring EasyEDA Standard projects and Eagle .sch files; anything that could not be imported is listed for review.

Limit: A pin wired to several pads is imported without a pin number and flagged.

  • Design your own footprints

The footprint editor is available in the editor, with pads saved exactly as drawn.

  • Six bench labs

RC filter, 555 divider, window comparator, AVR scanner, PIC I²C and RP2040 SPI labs open with instruments attached.

  • Safer, faster auto-route

Auto-route now checks each new connection against the copper already placed and leaves it unrouted rather than adding a short. On 20 test placements of an RC board every connection routed with no shorts, and a small 555 test board routes in about 0.4 s instead of 8 s.

Limit: Tested on those boards only. The RC check did not use full pad shapes, and a connection that cannot be routed safely is left for you to route.

  • Tidy runs in the background

Auto-arrange shows progress and can be cancelled, and the editor stays responsive while it works.

  • One drag, one Undo

Dragging a part is now a single Undo step.

  • Pin-to-pin wiring fixed

Dragging a wire from one pin to another works again.
