One person per account: current limits

Last updated: November 4, 2026

Each paid Ohmeris account is for one named person. This page lists the limits we apply to every account today. They are kept here, not in the terms, so they can change with notice. If a limit changes, we update this page and the date above, and we email account holders before a new limit applies.

Current limits

  • Signed in at once: up to 3 sessions (browsers or devices) per account. Signing in on another one ends your oldest session.
  • Benchmate requests running at once: 1. Start the next one when the current one finishes.
  • Simulation, emulation and export jobs running at once: 2 in total.

These limits are about how many things run at the same moment. They are separate from the number of Benchmate requests your plan includes each month and each day, which are listed on the pricing page.

Working with other people

If several people need to work together, use the features made for it instead of sharing one sign-in:

  • Collaborators can be added to a project, each with their own account, at no extra cost. Open the project, choose Shared editing, and share the private join code with them.
  • Classroom seats let a teacher run a class where each student has their own account.
  • Add-member seat: coming soon. It is not available to buy yet.

What happens if a limit is reached

You see a plain message saying which limit was reached and what to do, for example to sign out of another device or wait for a running job to finish. Nothing in your projects is deleted because a limit was reached.

If we see signs that one paid account is being used by several people, we start with a notice that explains what we saw and how to fix it. Further steps, if the pattern continues, are described in the terms. You can contest any action at hello@ohmeris.com.

Questions

Is a limit getting in the way of normal use, such as your own laptop, phone and tablet? Write to hello@ohmeris.com and tell us what you were doing.
